Miami to face Stanford for NIT Title
One win, and Miami returns home with the NIT Championship, our first major sport 'national championship' in years. Will be a major confidence booster for Miami athletics.

Good luck - you were screwed out of a NCAA bid.

Yeah, last night was the battle of the passed overs.
Miami and Temple were both probably better than half the teams in the NCAA T.
Unfortunately, most of them had auto-bids (but you could argue a couple of at-large spots should've gone to the Canes and the Owls).

There are so many positives about this UM NIT run, which continued with a 60-57 semifinal win against Temple tonight. Among them: the growth of UM's first-year players, needed in the absence of Angel Rodriguez and tonight's second-half absence of Tonye Jekiri (concussion):
Ja'Quan Newton (nine points tonight), Omar Sherman (six points, three boards, a block), James Palmer (four points, four rebounds, one block) and Ivan Cruz Uceda (six points) all had good moments

Really hope we get the win! It'll be huge if we do. I'm not sure we should have been in the NCAA tournament (too many bad losses...), but this has surely been a nice surprise to see. Go Canes!

I thought that was a pretty bad call on the foul. but we see bad calls every game. you just hate to see them in the last minute of OT during a championship game.

I was actually so upset and amazed at that call I just turned it off. Felt sickening to see them win on something like that.
