Would have been impossible to get him away from coaching his son's senior year, but now this should be much easier for a P5 to come in and offer.

Hate that for the overall conference... LOVE it for an easier path for us.

Well, that's gotta break Dad's heart . . . . Wonder if he still plans to buy him a car, or if he'll just let RJ buy it with his signing bonus . . . He had a hellofa ride this year, all the best to him . . .

I cant decide whether I should be sad that the league is missing such a great player, or do a dance that we never have to face him again.

RE: RJ Hunter to NBA
so now the question is will ga state be able to keep playing at this kind of level, or will they fall back to where they normally have been historically. On a side note, players will no longer be able to transfer and play immediately due to "hardship" like Kevin Ware was able to do. They like transfers, but this could keep them from going down that path as much.

Hunter has a really high PPG... that will be hard to replace.

They are essentially losing two 20 point scorers in Hunter and Harrow. I know they've got a kid who they are high on who will be eligible next year, but is he the NBA talent that Hunter and Harrow possibly are?

There are some big question marks for next year. I'd say it's highly doubtful that anyone on our team next year has the same talent that Hunter and Harrow showed this year. What will be interesting is how well the others step up with those crutches taken away. We saw it with Ware in the conference championship game. Will others help to fill the void? (I'm looking at you, Markus Crider.) I think we'll be a good team again, but I bet we'll look like a very different team and less of a two-man show.

This whole conference likes transfers. We just get good ones

Hate to see him go. But, I'm soo happy for him. I'm confident he'll have a respectable career in the nba.

GSU will be back next year. We are losing a lot of points. But, we have big time players that redshirted last year. Plus we still have THREE scholarships left to give out. We'll be more than good next year.

Kinda boastful for a team that won the conference on the last day of the season and is losing two stars who accounted for 54% of your total scoring and 54% of your assists .

Sounds like the end of last season.

We'll be fine. I still expect us to win out, mostly because, as everyone saw, even on a bad night for RJ, we still win games.

Against a football school, even.
