Michael White next up at Tennessee?
They fired Tyndall for cause today. White was in the running last year. He was either their first choice, and turned them down, or their second choice. Doubt he would pass up an SEC job, at this point, as he has taken LaTech about as far as they can go.
On the other hand, the Tennessee program in is a cluster****.

Why did they fire Tyndall. I thought he did a pretty good job, and he was fun to watch. He wasn't there very long, was he?
That's a real surprise.

He cheated at USM and the NCAA will be coming down on him pretty hard.

Wow. When you're in a profession where you are eventually judged by wins and losses, it just makes cheating too tempting for some coaches. Sort of like some people who access to a lot of other people's money and they just can't resist taking some for themselves, and they justify it some way.

He also cheated while at Morehead State but didn't get caught. It was pretty common knowledge in the OVC.

Michael White next up at Tennessee?
Someone is going to get a winner.
He can spot talent that others have missed.
Applby and speedy did not have a lot of d1 offers
He runs a fun to play and watch style of ball.
Lots of good stuff there.
I think he stayed because the team looked like it could make a sweet 16 run if they got in with a little help in the draw.

I would assume (hope) this is the kind of thing a search firm checks out. Like you said, others in the profession know who cheats and who doesn't. Something like that, could really shut down a program like UALR.

We don't need a cheater. We need a "beater".

When Alabama misses on Marshall, they would be foolish not to hire White. However, they have now put themselves in a position where if they don't get Marshall there will be a super big let down from their fans unless they get another "big name". So White wouldn't meet that criteria. You think Tennessee might go back to him? Kind of doubt a "name" coach would want to go there right now.

Texas being Texas will want a bigger name. They will go hard after Marshall.

Tennessee is apparently not going back to White after his rejecting them last year. Tennessee's AD may be in trouble, since most in the college basketball world apparently knew Tyndall was a cheat. He apparently did not do much "checking" before making the hire.

The AD says he made a mistake in hiring Tyndall. This time he's hiring a search firm. Sound familiar? Chasse is smart enough to do it the first time.
