Right. If it were to happen. It would be even worse when we join the MVC
There is so much discussion about who is getting fired & who is getting hired. I thought who does Wichita state go after if they lose Marshall. Haase has ties to Kansas.

I don't doubt that if he were offered that job he'd jump at it. I just don't think he's far enough up the curve yet for them to offer it to him.

Who would get that job? All of his assistants have taken a HC job elsewhere. I wonder if a P5 retread would get a call.

I don't have a clue, and as long as they leave Haase out of it I don't much care.

The longer UAB is left to "twist in the wind" waiting for C-USA to decide about our continued membership, the more attractive a competing offer from a stable high profile school's program can become. We don't know that UAB will be a member of C-USA after 6/30/15 and if not, whether it will get an immediate offer from another conference we will want to join for 2015-2016.
This is the maze UAB has been pushed into by those who ended its football program without a thought being given to what comes next. OK! Perhaps it is all a part of someone's plan we just don't know about yet.
