It's not looking good. Tennessee will get the penalty via conference call tonight. Lots of taking heads are saying it's bad. Could be out tonight.

I agree. Could be a landing spot for Greg Marshall too

I'd laugh so hard if Tennessee got him over Bama. PLEASE.

The thought of the UA BOT caught up in bidding war with UTK over a BB COACH is humorous.

To be specific, Tennessee will be made aware of Tyndall's penalty. Tennessee will obviously receive no sanctions.

There are going to be all kinds of jobs open. I also think that Ben Howland wishes he had not gotten antsy after sitting out a season. Far better jobs will open up.

I don't see marshall taking the Tennessee job either. He has a rock solid team coming back, and nothing seems to indicate he hasn't been recruiting well there to replace what will eventually leave.

If a job like Indiana or kentucky suddenly came up though(or even Texas), you would have to think he would make the jump then. Personally, I think the Wichita state job is better than many p5 jobs.

I can't see him leaving either. But it would be even greater for two sec schools to go after him publicly only to see him stay put

Wichita might being near the top of what it can afford to pay Marshall. If he can get double at Tennessee, a school you can win big at, he will consider it. But I also think he is smart enough to see what else is out there before jumping on the best open job right now.

It all hinges on Calipari. If he goes back to the NBA, things are going to be wide open.

Koch Brothers money there. I don't think money will be a problem.

RE: Tyndall
Marshall is in a great situation there. There is no reason for him to leave except to take the very best of offers. He's not short of cash as it is.

Why go to second rate job for the cash when if you are patient you can get one in the very top tier?
