Kings numbers for the season .404 from two and .250 from three. I'll say it again until he can consistently hit the "outside" shot, teams will dare a 25% shooter to beat them.

And I’ll say again he was not the only one. When King was injured Markel picked up his minutes at the wing and finished the season 40.4% from two (identical to King) and 30.1% from three.

The difference is King finished the season at 25% from three, but only shot 24 in 28gp. This is less than one-per-game. Markel shot 83 in 30gp which is more than triple of King’s in only 2 more games.

What I’m saying is no team is going to run out to the 3 line to cover a player who attempts less than one per game. I also like Markel’s game and only used him as a comparison because he shared time at the wing.
