Tulsa forced like 20 turnovers but they must not have turned any into points. Our defense is better than Tulsa and hopefully Freeman can play more

Last time Murray State came to the Ted, Ross had perhaps his best dunk ever.

I was at that game. He postered that guy. Hopefully it's a remake. I'd love to see yet another person step up and go off. Let's get the entire team posting near double doubles.

MSU looked unstoppable tonight against Tulsa. They hit around 15 3 pointers. They are pretty big and fast too. Going to take a complete game to have chance.

Before tonight, Murray St. had played a grand total of THREE games against Top 100 teams. They handled one tonight, but let's see how they do back to back against the type of teams they just don't see.

And this isn't some top 30 RPI team that got left out of the NCAAs. ODU was more of a snub.

They should be fearing us.

Maybe someone should pin Justin Bieber posters in their locker room. Maybe some One Direction as well. Play some Kidz Bop in the background. We should make them feel at home.

Before we get too excited about them destroying Tulsa, let's not forget that Frank Haith is the worst coach in the history of basketball and Tulsa will be a 10 win team within a couple years if past performance is any indicator.

I'd like our chances more if Trey was at least 75% healthy. I don't know if we can beat them with another 0pt performance from our best player. Hopefully his ankle is feeling better on Wednesday.

We beat them last year at the Ted without Trey.

I couldn't tell if Murray State was that good, or if Tulsa was that bad. But to my uneducated eye, Murray State looks VERY GOOD and we are in for a hard fought game. I don't think we can shoot 32% and win.

Matchups and momentum. Illinois State didn't look as good the 2nd time around, though they looked fantastic last week. ODU didn't look as good against MTSU as they did the previous game against WKU. Let's see what happens. Murray State is a good team, but they aren't Duke or Kentucky. We are also a good team with a perfect home record and a strong showing against the top 100. Their performance against Tulsa on the road is not likely to duplicate 1,500 miles away and 44 hours later. If Trey is ready to go, I think we blow them out. If not, I see another rock fight that could go either way.

They scored 45pts from behind the arch last night. That's only 4 less than Ill St scored total. Defense vs offense, think our guys will be cranked up.

I'm not going to bump a recruiting tread, but I did say Trey would never go 0'fer. Sorry I was wrong and guess I jinx the guy. Hope he has a quick recovery and can play some meaningful minutes vs Murray St.

That ankle might need a couple weeks to get to 100% but another 48 hours can't hurt and let's hope he's a quick healer.

And I don't think we can get a TOTAL of 13 points from Freeman, Bacote, and Mosley and not get beat by 30 points by Illinois St.

I think we should know by now that blanket statements don't really work in sports. People step up. Things happen.

I told a friend that I thought they should have left him on the bench and hoped for the best and only played him if the game looked out of hand. He would have had another full day of rest rather than aggravating an already bad injury.

It seems like the problem wasn't him starting, but when he came out they just couldn't keep it loose. He tried, but once he left the game that first time, he was fighting it when he went back in.

So, hopefully it's not the pain, just working to keep him loose. Maybe with another few days they can figure it out.
