We're not allowed to discuss Fleck unless we worship MAC Basketball first. You guys know the rules, come on.

Turner, Lewis, JB, KG, Beebe
Which player will have the most catches? Yards?
Any guess.

Catches will be Tommylee, and yards will be Golliday.

I get serious wood thinking about Tommy and Deucee lining up in opposite slots. Tommy IG'd a video of him roasting some DB in practice the other day.

IF our receivers can remain healthy (a big IF), this is perhaps the best receiving corps we have had in ages. Receiving will not be a problem. The QB getting them the ball could be the problem. If somehow the QB and receivers can get on synch, look out - especially with our group of RBs. We will drive opposing Ds crazy.

I have to believe the off season will prove fruitful for the QB/WR being synched up. I expect our O to be very energetic and more outside the box from last year. I have no idea what to expect from the D.....

yeah i expect the offense to be improved in nearly every part. defense has me wondering - return a lot of talent, some young some vets. lost a major contributor/playmaker at each level. i feel D will be stronger than last with the ppl returning and am very optimistic about the young talent....just comes down to the young guys stepping in and making plays. biggest question mark is secondary....a lot of youth and inexperience.

The only person we lost from the secondary is Durante. The secondary should be just as good, if not better, than last season. D-line is the biggest question for the defense.

RE: Kenny G (No not that one!...Our New Stud WR)
we have moore and logan coming back. other than that, have unproven/inexperince at the other safety and the other cb spot will be filled by true sophomores and a jr that shared time with true freshmen as a soph. we've seen how our secondary can get blown up the past few yrs. i agree though secondary should be one of the most improved units on D this yr. young dbs showed promise...hopefully we have jimmie ward 2.0 emerge out of one of them (or more lol). i feel confident in the d line with 3 of 4 starters returning, CCE got good pt last yr and feel good about the youth coming up at DE. overall i think d will be improved and o should get better my only concern is how o-line will perform on that side of the ball, still feel good about them.

lets be honest though, since im an NIU fan and biased....i feel good about everything about this team.

i think TLL will have most catches, yards pry to him too. most TDs to Canada or Kenny G (still need to see him play though)

They return Paris, Moore, Mayes, Smalls, Olootu, and Lurry all who played a ton last year in the secondary. Add in Hallmon and hopefully a healthy Allen, and they're the least of my worries.

Don't forget Anthony Brooks. He made a lot of progress last season and I would be surprised if he isn't starting opposite Paris Logan.

Yeah he learned to play off the receiver 10 yards instead of 15. At least he doesn't let anybody behind him but teams can always get 5 yards with a simple out. I think one of last years freshman takes his spot this upcoming year.

RE: Kenny G (No not that one!...Our New Stud WR)
yeah im excited for all those guys, secondary should be improved in most areas. i expect brooks to start. i guess what i was saying is that the biggest unknown is secondary imo, due to youth (not much playing time in terms of yrs of exp (3/15 are upperclassmen)/shared reps/injuries, and bodies not as developed as will be in future). just depends on how quickly they grow into role. but i have high expectations for this group.
