If you had Uverse, you were treated to the World Darts Championship instead. It doesn't explain the entire drop, but that's why I had to go elsewhere to watch the games.

great point.
The thing you worry about is does it become a vicious cycle where ATT will say that the ratings show the level we need to pay- but the ratings would be higher if ATT was on board.

It can grow into a ratings issue if FS1 pulls content again. If it isn't fixed, I will not have Uverse much longer, but I would guess that I am in the minority of Uverse subscribers willing to walk away over BE coverage.

Yeah, that is a very true point.
The absolute bad thing with the ratings as well though is it could easily scare of the Big Ten. FS1 absolutely needs the Big Ten to have a chance to do much over the next 5-6 years. Otherwise, the next sports to come up is the NHL in 2022.

40% off? That's terrible. I thought last years numbers were not good, but would be the bottom and would improve with time.

Yeah I am surprised as well at the drop. Maybe I was expecting a small drop, but 40% just is remarkable. It has got to be a major eye opener to the conference.
The thing as well is the other program ratings on FS1. They are actually pretty good. NASCAR getting good ratings. UFC up I think I saw 43%. But not translating to Big East basketball. Part of it I guess is completely different demographics. The thing with ESPN if you are a fan watching say ACC basketball, you'll also dabble in watching NBA basketball. But if you are a fan of UFC, it's not a guarantee at all that you'll watch Big East basketball at all.
