RE: CUSA Men's Basketball Championship game
I am less concerned about our SOS right now. With MBB, we can win our conference and make it to the big dance. As we improve, then it is more important.

RE: CUSA Men's Basketball Championship game
I guess I'll be the strident dissident.
1. CUSA is a one bid league and might be for the foreseeable future
2. Therefore, the path to the dance is winning the CUSA tourney
3. W-L in OOC is irrelevant
4. What matters is improving within season, with a goal of best possible CUSA seeding and building toughness and resiliency
5. Playing top 50 teams in OOC is the best path to improve
6. if they won't come to Autry, we should go to them
Our OOC schedule is horrible and, if left unchanged, will cap how much our recruiting can improve.

RE: CUSA Men's Basketball Championship game
W-L in OOC isn't irrelevant because it affects the RPI rankings for everyone in the conference. In the past there were discussions about the conference pressuring teams to schedule winnable games and avoid programs weighing down the rankings for everyone else through poor W/L records. While I agree CUSA is now a one-bid league and this probably matters less, I doubt they would concede that.
