The league needs La Tech or UTEP in the tourny. No offense to the other schools I think those two have the best chance to make noise.

C-USA has a long history of this. As in always.

ODU got outcoached. Brilliant gameplan by MT coach to isolate two of ODU's best players, Freeman and Bacote. Freeman was a non factor in the 2nd half.

I disagree. This league has a lot of parity. I think any of the top teams could make some noise. WKU and UAB are both teams with the talent to win in NCAA. Conference just doesn't get enough credit as a whole. If we take care of business OOC next year as a league then that won't be an issue.

Tough luck ODU. It sucks if this prevents you guys from getting in the dance. Hopefully you can sneak in.

And I know you all have to be hating us in the league... 0 for FB and BB and we have taken out ODU both years in the conf tournament.

Congratulations MTU! Your team played great defense. As you have all year your team showed a great resiliance and toughness. I wish you luck against UTEP and beyond. I am still very proud of my ODU Team as they, IMO are still ahead of schedule only 2 seasons removed from a 5-25 season.

Just so we're clear, my laughter is directed specifically at you ODUgradstudent, not ODU fans at large (although there are a few ODU fans just as disrespectful as you.) Frankly, this is exactly the kind of "tournament upset" that I have been worried about for LA Tech. And I said so. NOW, maybe you understand what I meant when I said ANYBODY can win a 3 or 4 day tournament. Good luck to ODU in the NIT.

Yes, you're a troll and but I'm going to say that there's no shouldn't about it. MT are a good team and have the players and the coaching to beat ODU (clearly...twice). ODU were the favorites but I wouldn't say that we should have won, you always have to bring your A game to beat teams like MT.

Again, congratulations to Middle Tennessee, if you play like that against UTEP I can appreciate the quality as a neutral and not as an angry opposing fan.
