Will venture to say that may be the only 5 second call while dribbling with under a minute to play in all of CBB this year. the video shows separation out front and the ref typically will indicate space with his arms apart and begin a new count.

That is a non-call that late in the game....game in BHam probably had influence on the call.

Disappointed to say the least, really wished we got a better shot than CHD had....Fant would have been nice down low....Was a hard fought game tournament style basketball....NOt sure any team would have too much left in the tank for La. Tech, but we shall see....Still shocked MTSU beat ODU earlier...Its Kermit and this is March? What the hell is going on in here?

Really thought WKU were going to win when they went up 6 points with about 2-3 mins to go.
Still thought they would win when they got the ball back with 14s to go. UAB had no answer to Fant all night - should have the ball on Fant hand to drive to the basket. Score or draw foul would still be better than a 3 point attempt.

How did any #FreeUAB stuff go? Wasn't there supposed to be something in the works?

Arena security hassled people with signs, made some leave them outside. They made people filming the hassling put up their phones. They tried (with little success) to stop the "Fire Ray Watts" chants. People will be wearing more #FreeUAB shirts tomorrow, let's see them stop that.

Word got out tonight that Watts is blocking the use of the firm our Athletic Committee has hired to do the analysis of the athletic budget, refuting the bogus numbers used as an excuse to close the football program. It is OSKR, Andy Schwartz's firm, who was involved in the Ed O'Bannon lawsuit among other things. Schwartz had written two highly critical articles on Vice Sports regarding the Carr Report.

Our in theory independent committee is being cockblocked by ex-president to be Watts. Expect a lot more fireworks tomorrow night.

I don't recall ever seeing that call made when the player advanced the ball that far towards the baseline. Very crucial call in a close game. Not saying that is reason we lost but sure didn't help.
