Why is everybody so low on the Miners?

And yet WKU is being talked about as being the favorite in the East...

Just put Tech last in the west that way we can have the element of surprise.

They beat us by 1 point in a shootout where we lost our best player in the first quarter and our Corners didn't show up.

Plus once we figured out their offense at Halftime we out scored then 28-10 to send the game to overtime

Our defense was vastly improved over the last half of the season. And, as for only having our RB back, when you were one of the worst passing offenses in the nation, that might not be the worst thing in the world. We'll see. It's only March, so all of this is really premature.

Transfers, dismissals, and injuries can still happen.

I don't know. That defense held Ootsa to two first downs or was it three? We won in a shutout at their place. Yeah, I guess you're right.

Always hate seeing these kind of excuses. WKU did nothing to force those turnovers....

If MT would've scored more than the other team every game we would've been undefeated.......

WKU wwas the better team.......that day. They also lost by plenty to LT who we beat for the Conf Champ. They have a few more returning players but not as many as Phil Steele reports.

This thread is way off track. We are dwelling on games and players that are history. There will be 6 maybe 7 bowls games for our fine Conference. finishing in the top 3 in your division will more than likely put you into a Bowl. Who are those 6 maybe 7 teams??

I'm hoping USM has an improved year.. I'm starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. I just hate UAB won't be there this season. I'd love to seen how this year would've been for them.

not sure why Marshall fans didn't give WKU credit for their loss. WKU scored a lot of points on Marshall that day.
