When your guards look slow, can't shoot, and can't shake D-2 guards, the handwriting is on the wall. The CBU juggernaut is middle of the pack in their conference and has been swept by Union University and West Alabama.

The only thing keeping the season from being a complete debacle is the fact that the top teams are either gone (U of L) or down ( Cincy, Uconn) while the crappiest teams (Houston, USF, and UCF) are still around.

Very misleading statement. Our so called slow guards are not what we are playing today. Johnson looked like a jelly roll at the start of the season. We focus on Pookie heavily at PG 2/3rd of our starting back court had not played in over a year. Now Johnson is closer to playing shape then anytime he has been here. Crawford has worked the rust off., Woodson has regain a lot of his shooting eye. Even with at least 2 pieces of the puzzle out with injuries we are still competitive.

I have no wishes one way or the other about Pastner -I'll support whoever is there, as always. But, one thing would be a lot of fun; at the end of this year Pastner gets an extension and a raise.

3 times. At the time we played Bradley in NIT finals it was the superior tournament.

You are a clown. If we make the FIRST ROUND of the tournament 5 years in a row we would tie with a couple of the top 10 programs in the nation.

The year is coming to an end let's enjoy what is left of it, support the kids and come up with new stuff to talk about after the season.

The point of the post is that Tiger fans have been gnashing their teeth about the performance of the team this year. All you needed to do was watch the CBU game to see how this season was going to play out. Any expectations of NCAA tournament or 20+ wins was delusional.

Also, what PG or SG is coming in that will make next year any better? The current guards aren't going to magically become All-Conference over the summer. JUCO players don't usually turn into program changers during their 2 years on campus. PG recruits not in the Top 20 don't typically impact a team for 2-3 years, if at all. Not sure how next year is going to be any better.

It's not about this year

exactly. imagine where this program will be in 6 more years.

A distant reminder of the stupidity of emphasizing basketball. On par with tennis or rifle. Good days are ahead

Our down year is unique and Cincy and UConn are having normal down years?
