Once a Tiger, always a Tiger.

there is no reason for him to transfer and sit a year.

None at all. He will be a main contributor to what will be a really good possible elite level team.

This is about Nichols, and an unfortunate injury to a young player. He has already been missed, both as a kid, and as a player, losing him really did hurt the team, not an excuse, just a fact. A team that was not great was good and very likely would have 19-21 wins now without these injuries. Instead they have 17...part if the game.

Will be good to see him healthy next year. Between him, a more in shape Kedren, more experienced from the get go guards...look at our last guards improvements from year one to two...under Pastner and former coaches...big leaps. Will be fun...simply unfortunate for this year.

While nothing is likely to slow the mock parade, it is pleasant to still see some regular informational non bashing or bullying or Internet high five seeking drivel.

Lady, drivel is claiming wins we don't have, drivel is claiming us as a top 25 team next year. Drivel is living life with your own bull****, made up scoreboard.

Seem a wee angry...but thanks for the attention to what have basically been pretty generic posts...I am guessing it simply gets under your skin...causing this level of rage...that I opined that it is quite likely had our best player not been injured we very well would have won a few more games...then qualified by the fact that injuries are part if the game...

THAT is incendiary.

Thanks!

He came into his own this season and made a national name for himself. Starting over somewhere else after sitting out a season would seem to be a major step backward in his development.

I'm a Tiger fan and I don't expect AN to transfer. However, because of his basketball IQ and skill level, if he were to transfer to a school like Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas, Virginia, to name a few, I don't think he would take a step backward at all. He could use the transfer year to get acclimated to the system and all he would need is one good year in those programs and he'd be ready to start his NBA career.

The other thing to consider, while JP doesn't exactly have a sterling track record of developing players, Austin has significantly improved his game since he stepped on campus and my bet would be that both he and his parents are happy with that. I repeat, he is going nowhere.

Be glad you are not in Vegas and that you put down money on that statement.

There are injuries that would suggest what you say makes sense, but I'm not sure rolling your ankle is one of them. Accidents happen. There is also a good probability he was never 100% from the first injury and stepping on someones foot jacked it up even worse. Also, the flip side of the coin is that if what you say is true, another year of college/injuries might really scare the crap out of the NBA teams.

It might, but if it happens it happens. It's not just the injury thing and this is not meant to be an insult to nichols, but he is not ready to make a nba attempt. Thicken up some and work on his strength, conditioning, and his game and get at least another year of college experience is the smart thing to do, imho.

Is 15-16 our record next year?
...reluctance to use King despite the fact he is usually productive when he gets the chance to play...(averages 19.3 minutes, or very few minutes less than all but three players)
Those close to him feel like it will be better to sit out a year.
Time for Josh to experiment with housing markets in other cities.
Bwahahah to the above (score...got that Internet high five). L
...not sticking my head in sand ignoring noise about player transfers (fits in with the idea that if you do not agree your head is in the sand...original)
Incrediboy.

Thanks for those OPINIONS guys!

How many minutes was King averaging before Iverson was booted and Hawkins and Nichols both got hurt?

It makes zero sense for him to transfer. Do you actually know something? If so, then spill it. If not, then why would he transfer?

Back when the board was fun, before it was turned over to the current essentially ymt style seek an INternet high five by being as sarcastic and insulting as possible, all the time especially mocking anything remotely normal or god forbid positive, there was a thread where posters explained the origins of their mto site name.

You guys can do the research...on that and more..with the infernal negative spin forever questions.

Will simply, gently, un dramatically, look forward to the rest of this season which will be difficult, and more so next year, which will not be, as team will be much improved and will win a lot more games. Sorry in advance for that incendiary remark.

Exactly, just wait until NEXT year! Coach Josh Wooden will have these boys in the T25 all year, bet that.
