RE: La Tech vs UTEP
Tim Floyd just got tossed from the game. Gave his player an ear full from holding him back from the official.

RE: La Tech vs UTEP
Thanks for the clarification. It'd be great for us to get a share of the regular season championship, even though I realize it doesn't mean anything really. It's NCAA or bust at this point. I'd be flabbergasted if utep and la tech lost enough games for us to win it outright.

Southern Miss beat UTSA tonight. UTEP will be coming to town Saturday. Is it a trap game?

La. Tech would have to lose both remaining home games which is really unlikely.
We were so close to having a 1 seed though. If we had won @La Tech we would've almost definitely been the #1 seed this year. Led that game with 5 minutes remaining and just couldn't make a basket to save our life. Shot under 20% in the final 5 minutes unfortunately.
IMO, UAB played the other top teams the most consistently. We were never blown out by any of them. Just couldn't close out some of our road games and they were all one possession games except for @Rice (which was still double overtime).

There is a lot of things we should have done. I'm just glad we have the tournament in Birmingham and we will have the confidence to win. Lots of pay back to be served.

RE: La Tech vs UTEP
Right now MTSU is all that matters. Could've shouldve wouldve doesn't ever do anything. We can finish conference play undefeated at home. When is the last time we did that? We can also finish with a winning road record if we sweep the Florida schools. Our main focus right now needs to be on finding a way to win 2 of the next 3 so we lock up the 3 seed, likely avoiding WKU or odu in our first game, and also avoiding la tech until the final.
