Tomorrow will be the first time I've ever actively rooted for the Tigres. God please forgive me for the sin I'm about to commit.

Surprised SMU is only a 1 point favorite. That being said, I hope Memphis wins this one and that the games goes into 3 OT's.

I'll take OT's until one of two things happen....
1. Larry Brown is forced to return to the locker room to change his adult diaper...
Or
2. Josh Pastner's mom comes and tells him it's past his bedtime.

RE: 2/26 AAC Games
The mini battles are clearly defined as we head to the final week and a half of conference play
SMU vs Tulsa for 1st
Cincy / Temple / Memphis / UConn for 3rd
Tulane / ECU / UCF for 7th
USF vs. Houston to avoid the basement
Therefore for tonight for my personal rooting interests ..go SMU and Houston !

If another team in the league would loan us a point guard for a game we might be able to beat the Bulls.

Tulsa should at least show Memphis some gratitude for its first win at home against the Tigers since 1971.

I will never show gratitude for having to endure Doug Wojcik Basketball.

Go SMU!!!! We need this conference to keep a ranked team or the national media will harp on the down year for the league until they are blue in the face (which doesn't really help in recruiting for any of us).

But we might set some record for most NIT teams from one conference.

Out of solidarity, Temple should play tonight's game without a point guard .... lol

Outside of Memphis and UConn, not sure who from the lower half will qualify for the NIT.
The upper tier this year have been pretty well represented in most NCAA projections.

UConn, Memphis, Tulsa, Cincy to the NIT. Yeah, I know it sucks, but hey, as a Memphis homer I've got to say we beat UConn, Tulsa, and Cincy to end the season, thus . . . . . . . . the NIT for them and us. lol
We beat SMU too, but they're a NCAA lock as is Temple.
