They spray paint the conference logo closer to season kick-off because they don't want it to be worn out before the season begins.

Huskie Wire has the best full pic of the new field after the full installation. I still dont get why athletics has not put one out yet.

I was in DeKalb on Saturday and checked out the field. It looks really sharp. The state and the alternating shades of green are subtle. Absolutely love the end zones. They really pop. The MAC logos were painted/sewn on.

Athletics said the MAC logo would be painted on. You can also see the field with all the patches installed when they were doing the rubber fill THEN they painted on the MAC logos.
