See post before. ECU feels good about their chances. As for who he is considering, he has offers from everyone basically in the country. Word is he will stay in-state and his mother wants him close to home. He lives about 30 minutes from ECU.
That would be awesome if you can land him and good for overall conference strength. Might be the first time ecu being in greenville has helped you land a top recruit lol
If we start landing eastern NC talent, its gameover. Considering Michael Jordan, Jerry Stackhouse, Dominique Wilkins, etc. all came from Eastern NC, the talent pool is rich.

ECU feels like it has a legit chance with Bam and Parker.
Thats Kwe Parker that he's referencing: http://espn.go.com/college-sports/basket...kwe-parker
We do need more NC players.

Man, either one of these guys comes to ECU and I'd freak. Both of them? Game changer.

Those 2 would be program changers. I don't want to get my hopes up too high, but it certainly appears a much higher level of player is showing serious interest in our program than in years past. Gotta break through and get some of them though.

A little off topic, but I've always thought you could take an alltime team NC homegrown team and take on the rest of the worlds squad and do quite well.
C-Brad Daugherty
PF-James Worthy
SF-Dominique Wilkins
SG-Michael Jordan
PG-Chris Paul
G-Stef Curry
G/F-Pete Maravich (the only one you can argue wasn't NC grown but played his HS ball here)
G/F-Walter Davis
G/F-David Thompson
C-Walt Bellamy
G-Sam Jones (10 rings)
F-Bob Mcadoo
And many more...

247sports' Crystal Ball has him going to UNC (89% chance). The other 11% chance is going to NC State.

Yep, but ECU has also gone from cool to warm on the interest level in the last 2 weeks or so. Supposedly ECU has come on very strong with him recently and his advisor was quoted as saying that he was actually bothered by the fact that no one thinks ECU had a real shot and that in his mind ECU was very much in contention.

I'd just take the University of Houston all-time team and feel very good about playing that team.

Don't forget Charles Shackleford from Kinston. He was "amphibious."

But how can that be true, because a bunch of guys on the all-time Houston team lost in the national title game to Thurl Bailey and a bunch of other dudes from North Carolina State. None of the dudes that Houston lost to were even close to being all time greats anywhere.

wouldn't be close. BTW I am leaving plenty of studs like John Wall, Phil Ford, Jerry Stackhouse, Cedric Maxwell, and David West off the team. NC HS basketball has been LOADED.
You look at these internet rankings and they count a guy like MJ from New York who moved to NC at age 3 lol.

The point, I think you missed it. It wasn't about guys that played at ECU, but the talent in the state.

I got the point. That an ecu fan is laughing at a houston fan thinking his schools all time team (which includes hakeem and clyde drexler) could beat the state of NCs all time team (which has no ECU players on it)
