He does have a point. The left doesn't have enough independent thinkers to support any site on the net. They just follow what their Comrade leaders tell them to think and do. They would actually have to use their brain to read a site with thought provoking articles and news on it.

O'Reilly is 100x the host Hannity is. Hannity cannot debate people, he just talks over them. There is a reason why Hannity isn't pushed like he used to be on Fox. Everyone knows he is a blowhard with no ability to think outside of his bullet points.

The left's version of Drudge is CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, NY Times, NPR, Daily Beast ...

Several "conservative" posters (including myself) not only expressed openess to the allegations, but went further with saying that, if true, such allegations should be damning and have repercussions, including one of the most prolific conservative posters on these boards.

I post a rebuttal article with ZERO commentary, and now the accusation is the con wagons are circled and the "right wing media" is in full force.

Please, as per Spin Room rules, support your accusations. I await your response. I personally think O'Reilly embellishes due to a huge ego; but instead of accusations, please counter the rebuttal submitted.

Talk about a b!tch slapping.04-cheers

Oh, no, not at all. It was very much a war zone. Brits won overwhelmingly in the end, but it was touch and go in any number of ways. Sandy Woodward has acknowledged that if they had ever lost one of their aircraft carriers, they would have had no choice but to fold their tents and go home.

It's about that time Navies started to take these 'air to ship' missles a lot more seriously. And the word Exocet entered the lexicon. One of those hit Hermes or Invincible it would have been a game changer.
It also introduced the world to Harrier Jump Jets long before Arnold did in True Lies!

Let's let this play out for a week and see where it goes. Fox came out with an article in defense already. NBC didn't do that. They let him twist into the wind for days. I looked on sites this morning, No where near the traffic the Williams story received. The tight wing has the advantage in this arena. They have the ability to blow up a story.

Seriously there is a difference here.

Williams was a newscaster.

O'Reilly isn't even a commentator. He's just a showman. I haven't watched his show in years, not even for the reasonably entertaining segments with Dennis Miller and Bernie Goldberg. I find him annoying and when I rarely watch anything at 8PM, it would be Cavuto.

I just looked on Yahoo and Huffington. Both have stories about it up at the top. Nothing on Drudge. NBC dismissed Williams. Fox won't do a thing. Let's see.

Maybe just maybe fox would need a reason to do anything. Any reason not to wait on the facts Mach?

Mother Jones broke the story but it's now being picked up nationally.

No...not really. That was what, almost 17 years ago?
