In their second year of the FCS to FBS transition, the Eagles were eligible for the conference championship; however, they were not bowl-eligible.

Ok.
I didn't know that playing a full FCS schedule in 2013 counted as a transition year because as I understand you must play 7 FBS games in the first transition year and have at least 5 FBS home games.

Those are the rules for an FBS team. Your first transition year you're still considered FCS. Transition year number 2 you're FBS but still ineligible for post season.

And I think they will beat West Virginia.
Good luck with that predicition. You're going to need it. 05-mafia
No, like seriously their run game is going to be insane next year. Not that it already wasn't.....
Breida's speed is ridiculous. If he gets a seam, he is gone.

I'd bet on WVU's running game, passing game, special teams, and defense over Georgia Southern's. The scoreboard will reflect that after the game.

I'm actually betting on WV's overconfidence.

Good luck with that. September, and the answer to this debate, will be here before you know it.

Memphis would have to win all their OOC including Ole Miss, beat Cincy, and win the Championship. Tough because I think we will beat each other up in conference, but we do all play tough schedules.

I was talking about the conference as a whole has a tough OOC. Our OOC outside of Ole Miss isn't great. We were suppose to play Missouri I believe but they either pushed it back or dropped it.
