We just suck on the road in CUSA play, period.
Nice avatar douchebag.
I like it.

RE: ODU at UTSA
When you shoot 30 treys in 40 minutes of basketball, you're not gonna get to the line a lot. Honestly, I don't believe I've seen a game where the foul discrepancy was as pronounced as it was in this one, and if I hadn't watched the game, I'd have been shocked also. But I honestly thought it was called pretty fairly. In our last game against FAU, the Owls had 28 fouls to our 14, and btw, they shot 37 treys in 40 minutes. That was at FAU. Our team doesn't foul much. In fact, for the season (home and away games), we've made more free throws than our opponents have even attempted. Investigate it as you wish; you're not gonna find anything. Our guards were more aggressive in taking it to the hole, and that's how you draw fouls.
Teams have been lighting it up against us from the outside for much of the year, and ODU shot threes like that's what you were hanging your hat on. Even though they weren't falling, you guys never really adjusted offensively and kept jacking them up anyway.

RE: ODU at UTSA
I can't imagine that Coach Floyd would let that happen. But if he does, Charlotte will put you in a hole very quickly. Torin Dorn is a special player, but he's not the only one on that roster capable of lighting up the scoreboard.
Good luck on Thursday, UTEP. We want you properly primed and dressed for the plucking on Saturday.

It's not good to say "plucking" when your next game is against a roadrunner. You guys Psed them off and see what happened.
Good job little brother. I hope you tired them out a little as I know that they can be good.

RE: ODU at UTSA
Just curious why would refs employed by CUSA have a bias in favor of UTSA? How does it help the conference to give us a helping hand? If anything it's bad for CUSA that ODU lost.

RE: ODU at UTSA
I think the refs definitely missed some calls.
But in the end, odu made ZERO adjustments during the game, launched way too many three pointers and deserved to lose.
The foul discrepancy is a bit of a head scratcher though, 6 total fouls?? Very rare you ever see that, especially when you see 20+ on the other team.
Either call it loose or call it tight but 24-6 is hard to swallow, even if utsa was the more aggressive team.
It seemed every 50-50 call went to utsa. It is what it is.

There was a huge discrepancy in foul calls, but I agree style of play of both teams was a bigger factor than any lopsided refereeing. UTSA initiated contact with drives, we shot threes. We made minimal adjustments and lost. Congrats to UTSA for executing better than we did, they earned the win.

RE: ODU at UTSA
I watched most of the game and from an outside perspective the foul discrepancy was due to ODU style of play last night vs. UTSA...UTSA bowling pin for a guard #44 and #14 were driving the ball like crazy all game long and making nice passes to the bigs who were getting hacked and fouled....In my neutral opinion ODU was lucky to be in the game with timely outside shooting...ODU settled for too many jump shots, while UTSA drove the lane, that to me was the difference in the game..What is it with ODU and every loss blamed on officiating? They said same thing after WKU beat them...I don't think their is a fan base in CUSA that whines more about officiating than ODU...
I said a few weeks back UTSA would be dangerous down the stretch...I was really impressed with them in BG....They will be a hard out in tournament with their senior laden club...

RE: ODU at UTSA
You got more fouls because you committed them. I saw the game last night and you were manhandling the Ootsa guys like if it was a football game. I'm surprised by this win but not very surprised as Ootsa is playing much better than when we played them. I'd be afraid to play them now.
I also said the No.Tx was a good team and last night they proved it. They have some good 3 point shooters.

I found that the east teams whine a lot more than those west teams
