I like Holt. A Very straight forward Guy that is razor sharp in His news delivery. Libs would probably prefer Keith Olbermann though.

There are no quality news people out there due to the ever increasing speed of information flow. When Cronkite was around, they had time to vet sources and scoops to develop a factual investigative report. With the internet, news agencies and newspapers are pressured to get faster with news in order to stay relevant. Therefore, sources aren't vetted like they were in the past. For the sake of speed, assumptions need to be made...and evidence needs to be fabricated on occasion.

I'm baffled that people would pay so much attention to males delivering the news.

Unless it's a hot blonde girl like the one's from fox news, I don't even care.

Several NBC News insiders told Vanity Fair that the fact-challenged Williams — who was suspended without pay for six months from his “Nightly News” gig — had trouble explaining what had happened.
