FSU sends the most players to the NFL Combine followed by Alabama/Louisville...
Yes a little "Bragging" on my part...but it's amazing that 2 of the Top 3 are ACC schools and Miami was tied for 5th...this including the "Former Commuter/C-USA" school Louisville...all with classes that were at best Top 30ish...

I'm wondering about FSU's viability as a title contender going forward. Despite having loads of NFL prospects the past two seasons, it was obvious that without one guy, Winston, they wouldn't have been a top-10 team not only this year but last. They really relied on him to win the games.
That makes me doubt Jimbo's ability to produce results, unless he once again lucks into a Cam-Jameis level QB talent, and i say "lucks into" because those kinds of players are rare and don't come along often for anyone, even the Alabama's of the world.

There are a lot of teams, college and NFL, in that boat though (apparently everyone but Ohio State). When you don't have a good QB you do a lot of things to try to make up for it. But when you have one, you ride him to the end.

B12 has fewer teams, but they are really hurting with Texas down and A&M gone. By far in the 5th spot.
Edit, I guess they probably avg. about the same per team as the B10 and Pac.

Just to show the numbers
SEC 69 Players (4.9 per team
ACC 57 Players ((4.1 per team)
Pac 12 44 Players (3.7 per team)
Big XII 30 Players (3.0 per team)
B1G 40 Players (2.9 per team)
However it is probably best to look at something like this over a four or five year average.
