2/4 AAC Games

Probably had to do with the late game flagrant call.
It looked a lot worse live than on the replay. I would have just called it a regular foul, but I'm not a ref so...
Seemed like a little bit of a punk move on Pervis's part. If you're going to run the clock out, run it out. We weren't fouling to lengthen the game... just run it out. He tried a showboat dunk and we weren't going to give it up. Didn't look intentional either.

What could have been....
cold offense and defense from the Pirates in the 2nd half.... some calls were kind of iffy too...but it mainly of our own making....

Few teams take a shot clock violation, especially when it's not a blow-out. He went down hard. He didn't flop...I don't blame Purvis at all.
In the end, UCONN had the game won so it's not like the flagrant altered the ending.

I don't blame him for trying to take it to the basket late in the shot clock, and I don't blame Ziggy for not allowing that to happen. I don't think it was "intentional" in terms of trying to hurt him, but it was certainly intentional in terms of he was not going to let Pervis rub it in our face.

RE: 2/4 AAC Games
All and all, I'm glad to see ECU competitive in this conference. Given the pedigree of basketball and players in North Carolina, ECU has a very high ceiling. Us UCONN fans would like nothing more than ECU to outperform the ACC Carolina teams (like you already do in football).

Take the finger roll, floater, agree with other not blaming Ziggy for saying hell no you aren't rubbing in our face in it.

Agreed. A competitive ECU is huge for the conference.
