I hope we're not underdogs.

RE: 2/4 AAC Games - HuskyU - 02-03-2015 11:23 PM

ECU will beat UCONN.

I reeeeeeealy hope you're wrong about that!

Can we beat UCon? IF we play with the heart and intensity we have in our last few games we COULD do it.

RE: 2/4 AAC Games - TulsaEye - 02-04-2015 12:20 AM

Some of the teams from the lower tier have been stepping up their play in conference recently. I would not be surprised if a ECU takes one against a UCONN team. Is it likely to happen who knows. Would not surprise me at all though. More of those teams are getting better as the season goes on. Tulsa had to go to over time to beat a hot shooting USF. The conference is getting more competitive as the conference season goes on.

UConn coming off the road lose to UH, playing at home. Love my Pirates, but I think we lose this one, but by less the spread. I do think we can take them at home thou.

Please, sweet baby Jesus, let us beat Coog High on Thursday and have a great game vs. SMU on Saturday.

Also... Let cincy beat SMU if at all possible.

I think ECU is 0 for the season on the road this year. I'll take a win but I'm not willing to bet money on it.

You realize that if you beat SMU, it's more impressive if we beat Cincy than otherwise, right?

Ya, but an SMU loss to Cincy loss would put us (Tulsa) in better position to win the regular season title. Another banner for the rafters... Plus it's pretty doubtful that we'd get left out if we won the regular season. There would be enough there to get us An at large if we won't game or two in the conference tournament

ECU's Splits:
Home 8-3
Road 0-7
Neutral 1-2

The game is in Connecticut, I don't think UConn has anything to worry about.

RE: 2/4 AAC Games - zfred12 - 02-04-2015 02:11 PM

I like Temple, ECU, and Memphis to cover

RE: 2/4 AAC Games - laser101 - 02-04-2015 04:36 PM

Guess I'll go with the favorite again.

RE: 2/4 AAC Games - texcane1982 - 02-04-2015 04:46 PM

I predict South Florida will upset Temple.

If I was a betting man I would graciously take the points, and throw a little somethin' on the moneyline.

Tulsa needs a nice RPI boost, and beating an SMU who just beat Cincy addresses that need. Cincy is till top 35 RPI I believe.

Plus another loss by Cincy all but elimantes the Cats from the race, thus leaving Temple and Memphis the closet contenders, a distant 3 games behind Tulsa and SMU.

"Not the shot he wants"

Has she not seen the game tape? He can hit those and has actually gotten me to accept him as a starter. Robinson still starting on the other hand...

All of a sudden the last couple of weeks ECU has looked like an actual basketball team.

USF leads Temple by 1 at the half
