RE: Houston game
Houston is playing a zone and we still don't know how to successfully shoot over it or penetrate it.

An early three and fast break two to start the half puts UC up 29-28.

Nice. Ellis aggressively to the hole on the offensive rebound.

RE: Houston game
They keep showing shots of Coach Davis talking pointedly at Shaq Thomas. Wonder what is going on between those two.

Houston's Knowles appears to be befuddled by the drawstring in his shorts.

And Coach Davis calls a timeout, probably to yank Thomas back out of the game.

Lead was up to 9 and all the sudden it's 4 again.

Nope. Shaq stays in and plays well on the next offensive possession.

Cobb is a 3 point specialist. That means making them, correct?

No, no, no. Don't give it to DeBerry on the fast break! I think the officials may have bailed us out on that fast break. I feel sorry for the poor guy he ran into :)

I think it used to. Nice steal there by Cobb, however.

RE: Houston game
We must have given up 5-6 layups after offensive rebounds tonight. Best part of Houston's offense.

Caupain! Onions!

A few have been some tough luck rebounds where the ball bounced to the only place Houston could get it.

Honestly (and kinda sadly), it is almost good enough just to have someone who is willing to shoot them. At least it keeps the defense honest. Besides eventually he will get hot and start hitting.

Caupain is doing a good job. The man behind me said 'Houston, you have a problem!' That's funny!

RE: Houston game
I'm sick of long offensive rebounds on free throws that turn into 3s.

Wow. We've taken 21 three point shots this game (made 6).. Good thing we are gold from the charity stripe (12-13).
