I've been told some people weren't real happy with the Adidas football shoes. Thought they were too flexible and might have caused some injuries.

Why do the bats suck? Is it material, design or both? Does UA have better baseball stuff?

IMO, small sweet spot. Not well weighted. Not as much pop as many of the BBCOR models out there. Not offered in enough specs to match different swing types.

For H.S. and above, they do not make the list when talking about quality bats. Go to a H.S. majors travel tourney where the kids have the best and you won't see one in any bat bag.

I am so old that last time I picked up a bat it was a Mizuno, spell check. Are they still around.

I'm about 8 years removed from playing. Loved Mizuno gloves when I played. But we didn't use their bats.

Nice. They got big in the 80's. I think Pete Rose started using or endorsing their gear.

As far as shoes, that Doc I mentioned only recommends the Mizuno's and the Nikes for baseball players. He says that Under Armour baseball cleats have put one of his children through college. 03-wink

Easton, Demarini, Louisville Slugger, & Rawlings own the top end NCAA market. I would add Marucci and Rip-it as great manufacturers that have a nice product and niche.

Shoe company bats are just that. There is a reason an Addidas school like Louisville has a separate bat deal.
FWIW, I would not buy a pair of Louisville Slugger shoes either.
