Not a chance unless he decides to leave on his own. We lost 4 of our top 5 scorers from last year, and the bench--shallow on a good day--is pretty much non-existent due the circumstances of the moment. Oh, and we do have that NCAA investigation looming to boot.

What I'm really looking forward to is how hysterical everyone gets about losing by 17 to Tech tonight when that's actually 1 point better than when we last played y'all in the conference tourney.

Correction: Last night was a 13-point loss, so it was 5 points better. Looks like GameTracker was either off by a few or running behind last night as the game ended.

RE: La Tech @ USM
I guess USM athletics is judged now by some not by wins and losses these days, but by how bad the teams lose. Sad, but welcome to the new world of Southern Miss athletics.
Oh yea, congrats to LaTech on the win. I looked forward to LaTech being in CUSA because the games with Tech would be fun. Not much fun when you can't even compete.

It's gonna get better. We all have rough patches. USM will reach its former glory again.

The Johnson hire, 0-12, and the Monken hire all pre-date our current A.D.'s arrival.

Sadler's hire is on him for better or worse.

I was at the game in the best seat in the house as usual, and coaching is not our problem, or X's and O's....It is the lack of Jimmy's and Joe's. It remains to be seen whether Sadler can recruit or not...
