It's wishful thinking. I like the optimism.

The interesting part is that such logic suggests that Villanova strives to become bigger than the Big East. The poster suggests that Villanova football should aspire to FBS achievement - hmm.

Football drives the boat. Yet their genius idea is to spend $150M to $180M on a basketball arena and play football off campus in a soccer stadium? This is their great FBS ambition? They still are not getting it.

This was the plan 6 years ago! LOL. I almost choked laughing when I saw PPL and CAA in FBS. Just wow!

Would the village of Radner let them build this? Because Radner basically said "Hells no" to the idea of Villanova expanding their FB stadium on the basis of traffic, noise, etc...

And there are A LOT more basketball games than FB games.

Meanwhile Seton Hall has taken nova to overtime. Go Pirates!

Having an FBS program is a visibility benefit - but not all schools punch their meal ticket with the football team. Villanova will always be basketball first.

UConn and Kansas also follow this logic as well. Both respect football with the understanding that it is NOT their calling card.

Radnor Township, and no. There is zero chance they would allow this. They are major NIMBYs.

This is just a guy who lives in his mom's basement going on an internet rant and using "we" as to suggest that there is some interest by a larger body to have nova make a large investment in facilities. This is one guy's wet dream. None of this is ever going to happen. Whet this does show is the level of delusion that nova fans manifest.
