I'm siding with HOD on this one I think. Do I think these threat-takers will be watched like a hawk for the slightest screwup? Absolutely. But do I think they should be jailed? Nope... and the judge and the mayor made the _correct_ (albeit generally unpopular) move on this one.

But the article is right... Di Blasio won't last more than one term as a mayor, because if there's one thing New Yorkers don't take too kindly to, it's assaults on their "appearance" of their police officers.
