Duke and BC piss away wins against Arizona State by 5, and Penn State by a missed extra point. Miami plays lackluster and loses by 3 to South Carolina on a fumble after a freak Duke Johnson injury. Only UNC was totally non-competitive.
You can count ND either in or out of the ACC total, but 4-4 or 5-4 so far is not bad.
Not bad for a slaughter.
Louisville also lost, so it's either 4-5 or 5-5.
The Cards were certainly competitive, but they weren't close to beating Georgia.
I forgot about Louisville.
My math has the ACC 12-12 against other P-5's for the year with one or two games to go (FSU).
Wins - Ohio State, Georgia, Mississippi State, Southern Cal, Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and ND - twice.
Losses - Georgia - twice, Penn State, South Carolina, Nebraska, Rutgers, Maryland, Arizona State, UCLA, Iowa and ND - twice.
ACC vs B12 3-0
ACC vs SEC 5-3
ACC vs P12 1-2
ACC vs B10 1-5
ACC vs ND 2-2
Only three of the losses were by more than a touchdown - Georgia over Clemson before Clemson started Watson, Rutgers over UNC, and Miami fell apart against Nebraska. BC, Duke, UVa and Florida pissed away wins over Penn State, Arizona State, UCLA and South Carolina.
Maybe someone will check my math.
Hopefully FSU will break the tie and beat the P12 and SEC champions in addition to the already beaten B10 champ.
