Zaxby Heart of Dallas Bowl
LA-Tech polishing off Illinois, 35-18 late in the game.
B1G bowl season off to a great start.

I think Skip Holtz is a pretty good coach!

Illinois isn't very good, plain and simple.
La Tech has rallied from a bad start to the season to be a good team.
Just shows how you can get to a bowl with a mediocre team that has no consistency - win a FCS game, win a couple of home buy games against G5 teams, beat a couple of bad conference mates and steal a game you were supposed to lose - and there you have it - 6 wins.

Congrats to Louisiana Tech on taking down the B1G.

Then hate to say it, but the problem could be Tampa ...

You might be right. I live here. Certainly Taggart's start at USF confirms your theory.

We'll see if Holtz can sustain. I recall that at USF, he started pretty strong, with a 12-5 record over his first 17 games, including a bowl win vs Clemson and a win at Notre Dame. Then, thing went south real quick.
But if he does win at LA-Tech, that would mean the problem was USF, not Holtz.
