RE: 12/19 AAC Game
The only way Tulane makes the tournament is if they can win a reasonable seed in the conference tourney and then get hot from 3 (which they have done during league play in the past).

Otherwise, we're looking at an NIT bid best-case or a CBI bid worst-case. Too many weak teams in non-conference play + down year in the AAC = no at-large bid hopes.

Tulane are shooting 32.4% AT HOME. Conroy is out of ideas - and he really deserves to be shredded for this performance.

Tulane leads 39-35 with 9 minutes to go.

That game was the last RPI killer of the bunch. Everything else from here on out will help our SOS - and our own RPI likewise.

56-49 Tulane. Lifeless effort, but they didn't lose I guess.

After Houston's loss to Arkansas Pine Bluff and Tulsa's loss to a Div II school ... I'll take an ugly win any day of the week. This team beat Southern Miss by 20 points yesterday. So a W is a W in my book.

We will know a lot more about this Tulane team in the next 2 weeks.

Roll Wave!

Is it possible that Jackson State is simply better than advertised? They curb-stomped Southern Miss yesterday, then hung tough with us today.

Just a thought.
