RE: 12/10 AAC Games
So Tulsa beats Creighton and loses to a D-II team.
Wow, just wow.
Did Tulsa have some players sitting out because of injury or team-discipline?

A loss to a DII school doesn't hurt the RPI.
On the other hand; UConn has to get out of the AAC.

Why? I'm not a Tulsa fan.

If Kennedy is in shape, SMU is about to ascend to steamroll mode.

Tulsa....
Should have taken notes from ECU on how to play DII teams.
Tulsa plays to the level of DII basketball and FCS football

Yeah, but it leaves a nasty bruise on the reputation, though.
…………
It's been almost nine years (Dec. 19, 2005; I looked it up) since Tulane MBB lost to a Division II opponent. Our team had evacuated New Orleans because of Katrina and eventually was taken in by Texas A&M, so the game was played on the Aggies' home court, Reed Arena. There's no need to try and describe everything our players and coaches went through in those days, but suffice to say that living on the road for ~4 months was not conducive to playing effective college basketball.
We were playing a school called St. Edward's from Austin TX, and we led by 4 at the half. The game went into OT and we lost 91-83. That turned out to be the last game we played before returning to New Orleans. The team actually did stabilize somewhat and after starting the season 4-11, finished up at 13-17.

RE: 12/10 AAC Games
For Tulsa total lack of effort in that game. SE Ok St. was shooting three pointers totally undefended for most of the game. We didn't really start to defend the three until nearly at the end of the game. By then it was too late.
