Apparently, was a RB as a freshman, got moved to defense and is now looking to transfer. Currently a sophomore. Didn't appear to redshirt, so has the potential to transfer to FBS and sit a year, but maybe he is looking to transfer to FCS and play immediately. Did OK as a freshman RB. I'd imagine he would be a good get for us if Withers or even Vad Lee has some connection to him. With an exciting offense again, I could see Madison being a good destination for quality RBs or WRs.

JJ Green is going to GT according to his twitter bio.

Wow, that Spence news is huge. Have to be cautiously optimistic since he obviously has zero reason to be at JMU other than to immediately prove he's clean and beasting it up on the D-line.

According to Spence's twitter, he is preparing for the draft so I don't know what incentive he has to joining the Dukes for a season... but hey, would love for him to make waves in FCS and call his name ... with the _th overall pick in the NFL draft, the Washington Redskins select... Noah Spence from James Madison University.

Spence was a beast in the B1G, way to go out on a limb and say he'd be a beast in FCS superfan.

No wonder UVA sucks. Only 2 of the top 35 in the state. Kids going to Indiana, Wisconsin, Arizona State, etc... from here. Terrible.

What would you do if your choice for coach was ML? The man who was handed RU players on a silver platter. Even before RU, he was the DC at UVA for two seasons where they were 5-7 and 9 - 4. That's all there is. He was a position coach for a number of years, but nothing that should get anyone hired as a HC at a BCS school. That decision was made on, well I don't know why the decision was made. Mickey would have been a better choice, at least he had some credentials.

When I look at the Roanoke Times top 100 I am surprised ODU does not have more than 5 in the top 100. Our in state recruiting class looks more impressive on paper than Old Dirty's class. Surprised since they have the FBS trump card.

But him and his staff can recruit their tails off , after having a 5 Star all acc VA beach player this yea that says something ( recruited by Chip West MM old assistant). Kids dont want to stay home now a days either , I can name 5 4 star Philly players right now that all went to the west coast.

If you grew up in Philly would you want to go as far away as possible as well?
