BTW, do any of you know about the sports shrink that Bowen hired? Supposedly the first real psychiatrist that the University has ever employed , and he counsels all of the athletes and coaches in all sports.

Sorry, but that makes me laugh and perfectly illustrates the divide here. You think .500 is acceptable here and it's simply not. If you watch the game on the court, you can't help but see the ineptness of how this team is coached. There is more structure on my grandsons 6 year old team.
You beat inferior teams ugly and the record against quality teams is 5-19.
To gloat after an ugly win over an inferior opponent typifies the inability to see what is really going on throughout the course of the game.
Certainly doesn't take away from being a good fan but diminishes the ability to adequately critique what EVERYONE is complaining about.

You need to see see the shrink, bench.

Everyone keeps talking how young we are with 10 newcomers right?....Only 4 practices Right?....People see what they wanna see...What people are saying now is just that with Josh's team, year after year, it totally the same.....NO team Idenity, No adjustments, Players looking lost, heck our team looked Lost against UVA, and those were what 4 Seniors out there....Team never plays with a Chip on them, Look scared more times than not year after year....Its his 6 year and it still looks the same, No Idenity.....Let me say that Shaka Smart had less talent, but his kids play a System, and stick with it....That's coaching them up....So Shaq is a Jr, still same problems with getting beat, foul trouble, out of position., SO what the problem there, just asking?...Austin is a Soph, King is a Soph and still getting beat off the dribble really...Markel got RS as did Pookie, so they were still on the team last year in Josh's System which in turn doesn't or Shouldn't make them that new to the System they are playing....We all are just saying this year, Josh has to prove he can really coach, because that's what it will take to improve this team....No one is saying Josh isn't a good guy, or wants him not to Succeed, just Hope he fixes it....Get Kuran out there, Get Markel better looks, Get Burrell better looks, Perimeter Defense has been poor since Jack left....Check them stats of when Jack was here on Perimeter D, to now....Big Difference.....University of Memphis, Delta's Team....The World Is Ours Memphis...
