There is nothing to Gloat about....Stop telling us how great Josh Is and our team will become.....If we do then He will have to prove us wrong by showing us he can really coach, that's what has to be done this year....No more wait til next year, then next year, wait then next year stuff....Shaka Smart is at VCU and got kids less talented than we recruited and wins because of his System....Heck most times Josh looks like he doesn't even know what we are running.....Poor Perimeter defense, year after year come on.....Problems are same year in and year out it seems.....Heck again look up the stats of our Perimeter Defense when we had Jack Murphy here, to when he wasn't and see how it got worse each year....Shaq is a JR and still gets beat, Foul trouble.....No one is bashing Josh, We just hope he fixes it, and proves to be a good coach.....Nuff Said....The World Is Ours Memphis...

Lets be real honest, Seriously for those who say we are young, an d inexperienced answer this for us.....Shaq is a Jr, Austin is a soph, King is a Soph they went to the tournament last year correct?...Pookie and Markel Redshirted which means this would be their second year in Josh's System correct?....Same with Kuran who is a Soph right?....Godfry Transferred and Kedren has Been is the SEC and was pretty good at Vandy Right?...So in reality they aren't as young as you say....I know I know, but Pookie, Markel Redshirted so no Real game time, Aw But they should know they System, and Be able to play better Perimeter Defense regardless....You think Coach K young guys don't know his System, Or Shaka Smart guys don't get his System....Anyway Point is Josh has to prove he can really coach this year is all anyone is really saying....The World Is Ours Memphis...

I'm as disappointed as anybody after a loss. But I'm nowhere near giving up on this team, or Coach Pastner. I still think he'll get the job done. And as long as the uniforms have MEMPHIS on them, I'll root for the team, be elated when they win, disappointed when they lose, and look forward to the next game.

What puzzles me A lot more now that I am looking at at our team, and gets me thinking....When Coach Cal left, and we got Josh, and his First year, that team played Great Defense for what we had, Better than any other under Josh...Yes they got coaching from Cal, But point is they knew a System and how to play it....Are we a Zone Defense, Man to man, Full Court Pressure, Half court Pressure, Cause No one seems to know what we are doing out there....Just saying Guys should know a System by now and Stick with it.....Cal's teams, Kellogg's Teams are Dribble Drive and in your face Defense....What is ours, one might ask....The World Is Ours Memphis...

Sorry, but that makes me laugh and perfectly illustrates the divide here. You think .500 is acceptable here and it's simply not. If you watch the game on the court, you can't help but see the ineptness of how this team is coached. There is more structure on my grandsons 6 year old team.
You beat inferior teams ugly and the record against quality teams is 5-19.
To gloat after an ugly win over an inferior opponent typifies the inability to see what is really going on throughout the course of the game.
Certainly doesn't take away from being a good fan but diminishes the ability to adequately critique what EVERYONE is complaining about.

Your grandsons teams get lollipops no mattert how bad they suck.
