What are you thankful for?
The holiday is explicit with its name, but I know I forget quite often to express my thanks. So here are some things I'm thankful for:
My son is just a joy. He's hard-working, respectful (usually), good sense of humor, healthy...a joy to be around.
I live in comfort. Great comfort, even by US standards, and certainly by the world's.
My health is pretty good. A few aches, and allergy issues, but nothing too severe.

RE: What are you thankful for?
I'm thankful for my parents, who have been married for 53 years and brought me up in the posh suburbs of NYC where my brother, sister, and I had almost anything we wanted (except for that minibike when I was 12 because it was allegedly "unsafe").
I'm thankful for my kids (a son and a daughter); both of whom are better individuals than me or my ex-wife.
I'm thankful I was born in the U.S. and not in some tribal, third-world nation.
And I'm thankful God has kept me alive this long after years of alcohol abuse and self-destructive behavior in high school and college.

That was solved when I was 42. I bought a motorcycle (a cruiser, with lots of chrome).
