Normally I agree...but Clark clearly saw something he thought he could exploit. He was right

I like the call. Getting 3 at a time isn't going to cut it against marshall. Again, Clark consistently does this. We are going to have to get used to it not working out at times.

The math is simple, take 3 to get within a point of them or nothing. This early in the game there is no reason not to. It takes all the energy out of the offense. I like his confidence though, glad the defense stepped up with the sacks

it doesn't seem to have worked out much for us this year. i don't remember when we've converted a 4 & whatever in clear field goal territory. you gotta take the points. i don't understand it

The math isn't simple. If you convert there, which we should have, the odds of getting 7 are great. Clark isn't consistently wrong, Clark is part of a new era that used statistics to make decisions.

If you give them the ball at their 12, they are not likely to score. If you convert, you figure you at least get 3, and have a good chance at 7. These guys have all those numbers in front of them. Making a decision based off of probabilities of x, y, and z is fine by me. I like the move.

Yes it is Matt. Should've had a sack. A guy is waiting to pick it off, and our own guy deflects it to the receiver for a td.

Looks like we're gonna be content with attempting to go into halftime 14-6...key word is attempting.
