As far as Africa and Obama goes, I'm curious as to why that would in any way be relevant to what the signposter's message is? Would a sign that said

Would anyone put up a sign that said REAGAN AIDS - THANKS IRELAND mean anything? At least Reagan's policy towards HIV/AIDS was controversial. And Americans died due to AIDS, possibly due to the Reagan administration's foot dragging on the issue. I'm not aware of any American citizens on US soil dying of Ebola. If not racism, what was the point of putting Thanks Africa on the sign?

Yeah... I'm just baffled at the 'what do Obama and Aids have to do with anything' or 'what about Reagan' comments.

The obvious implication is that all three things 'came from Africa'... and no other 'real' connection.

It's a childish argument, but it's not racist... since none of the issues relate specifically to race.

What I mean is, if Obama were merely another US citizen with African Heritage, I doubt the guy would be adding his name to that sign.

C'mon - at minimum his father was African - even if Obola wasn't born there (who knows), his father is certainly a plausible link.
