Does Toledo win eliminate WMU? Saw a stat on our board that Toledo's MAC record last 5 years is 32-3 not including NIU and 0-5 vs NIU. Damn....thats impressive and has to hurt.

WMU is not yet eliminated. They need to win @CMU and vsNIU AND have EMU defeat Toledo in Ypsi.

CMU was eliminated last night.

yeah the irony of the two situations is noteworthy! it's pretty cool.

I just looked at ESPN's Web site and they both still say ESPN2. last night one of the announcers said the Ohio-Miami game will be on ESPN2 but I'm sure he doesn't know anything. so, I guess the answer to your question is no!

With the Akron Kent game being rescheduled to the following Friday at 1 pm, that leaves Ohio Miami on the deuce.

How so? There are still 4 teams that can all end up with 4 losses. Of course that means EMU has to beat Toledo ...

Four teams can end with 2 losses, but CMU can't win that four way tie, so they are out. WMU can get in with 2 wins and UT loss. UT can get in with a win and NIU loss. NIU gets in with a win.

All of this depends on the tiebreaker scenarios, which I'm still not convinced that the one I posted from the Bullrun blog is the definitive answer. I'm surprised the MAC hasn't officially weighed in on this possibility. There can still be a 4-way tie for 1st with the tiebreaker deciding who goes to the MACC. Pretty sure it will be a 1 loss team though, so for all intensive porpoises CMU is out.

I thought so. I saw two scenarios on the NIU board, both of which eliminated NIU for weakest crossover schedule. Then wmu being knocked out for losses to CMU and Toledo. Toledo winning the final head to head with CMU.

Overall toughest crossover schedule would be WMU though.... But it seems like it goes to normal tiebreakers before that matters again.
