Writing's been on the wall for weeks. Hamilton has been told he will get his as long as he keeps his mouth shut. He took what he sees as the sure thing rather than gamble. Honestly I'm ok with not having to worry about it. It's dirty but Cal will probably get away with it as long as Hamilton gets a nice donation sometime in 2016 (and maybe a little something to get him through the next 18 months). It would have been dirty with us too.

This situation goes so beyond dirty that it lowers the vitality just to contemplate it. ****.

Kentucky IS a better job than Memphis, I don't understand the connection.

He had the #1 rated class at Memphis. Memphis at that time was a much better program than UK. He would not have gone to UK if the NCAA had not come around to investigate Memphis.

I dont understand how you can type all that nonsense out and post it without deleting it first. By far the dumbest assertion of the day. Kentucky is one of the top 3 programs OF ALL TIME with much better facilities and fanbase than Memphis. Good Grief

At that time Memphis was a better program. Coach G about to be tarred and feathered and run out of Lexington on a rail. They were irrelevant, and at best an NIT team. Forget about their "history". They were down for the count when Cal left.

Wrong. Incorrect. False.

That's actually true. He said to his private circle for years UK was the only place he'd leave for.

If Josh was at UK and performing at this level he would have already been fired...Hell they ran Tubby off and he was at least making the second round every year.

Here is Tubby's last 5 years and he got fired
E8
2nd Round
E8
2nd Round
2nd Round

Their PROGRAM expects championships ours is happy with sweet 16s.

Skal Labissiere says he didn’t like the media during his recruitment process.

your proof right there.
Memphians/media turn against Hamilton...and so he goes to UK. Maybe he was going there all along....but it sure is fishy.

He was NEVER coming here once our former coach wanted him. That is a fact.

NO. However, keep an eye on Parrish. The story is not over and he will get someone on the record about Hamilton pimping Skal for money. That will make the story even more interesting. Just because Skal commits to UK doesn't mean he ever sets foot on a court without issues.

There is so much financial aid out there it is unbelievable. They likely aren't paying a penny.

Expect to hear something similar in a few months:

"Cam had no knowledge or involvement in this misconduct, and Auburn respectfully submits that he should not be punished for the conduct of others," the university's request for reinstatement said.

So I guess Hamilton won't be running for Mayor of Memphis anytime soon.
