The people who come here and act like dicks because they can or the posters who try to have good conversations in the Spin Room, but have to come here because of certain people (usually the ones being dicks here) can't stand to lose an argument and start whining about people not linking up, changing the subject, not arguing their point, etc.?

I'm not saying all the Conservative posters are angels and all the Liberal posters are evil.. There's trolls on both sides. I think most people try to post here because on the other board they get tired of trying to have logical conversation with people and those people go full retard and then try to say others are not following the AUP.. Lurk the threads for a week with an open mind from either side, and you'll be amazed at what you see..

Let me say this...

First of all, it takes some balls to call out another member because if you're wrong you're going to get skewered. So let's not be too hard on Mach here.

Second, if there is anyone who feels this thread should be closed or deleted it's Torch, and he's man enough for the fight, so where is the problem with this call out?

Third, anyone who has been on this board for any serious length of time knows that Mach and Torch interact with each other probably more than any other two members. If they didn't have some degree of respect for each other neither one would acknowledge the other. Isn't this why we're here?

Fourth, what's wrong with a call out thread? What? Tell me.

As I said earlier, I believe Torch and Mach would be good friends if they were neighbors. They might fight a lot, but they'd be friends.

Finally, and I'm calling Mach out on this (and I love the guy and he knows it) why did you call for a board with more "civil discourse" only to be drawn into a board which is exactly what you didn't want? If you ask me, and you might even agree, the bickering, bantering, insults, barbs, etc are what made the Spin Room what it was. It wasn't broken but now it's fixed and what you have is the Richard Simmons room which apparently doesn't give you your fix otherwise you wouldn't be here.

I don't go into the RSSR but I'm guessing the level of intelligent debate of opposing opinions is on a par with the NT Times editorial board discussing Obama; everything is unicorns and rainbows with reality no where to be found.

Mach, why don't you hang out in the WWE room a little more, I know you're man enough for it. So break away from the T-ball game and join the major league.
