Very slow start, had to adjust to GB's size and play. Took too long and couldn't get back in it.
But, mark my words someone on one of these teams will get hurt on this court. Ice hockey ring under the floor, with temps in the mid 80's = wet floor.

That's what you get with a tourney that forces you to play a local non D1 team at home. This tournament is so small time it's crazy.
With that said Green Bay may be the next Horizon League bracket buster. They've been looking good the past few years.

The first few games is about all that ECU normally gets out of him. Last year he played about 4 or 5 games and then he was done for the season with injuries. The year before that he played a few more games, but then he missed the rest of the season with injuries. So when isn't he hurt?

Or our team hasn't gelled yet. Remember over half the team is new this season and we've had several key injuries. Playing two non D1s didn't help matters though.

Or we suck.
We had a horrible night shooting, and still managed to keep it close enough to where if we got hot we could come back, and win it. We are ok. We aren't great, but we should be top 175 by the end of the season.
Has Caleb White ever gone 1-8? Tejada was 0-6. Tyson like 1-4. Crazy.
Whisnant was as good as advertised today.

Ok...I have to do it since StillJonesing was so convinced at Lance Tejada was such a better player than ucf's parade all American BJ TAYLOR. For other ecu fans...I know Lance is good, I just want to give him a hard time for all the talk preseason.

Lance had a horrible game today, but he'll be alright. Him and Tyson are going to be on f the best guard pairs in the conference in a couple years.

I think he will be fine, but best guard pairs in the conference? Wow...this isn't the c-usa minus Memphis.

Both are top 200 recruits from their classes. Can't find much on Tyson since he was a NQ, but so far he looks better than Tejada.

Go look at the recruits smu, uconn, and Memphis pull as an example. Ucf landed BJ Taylor that was a parade all American. His star power would of been higher but he committed early. Stars mean nothing now though.

I said one of the top, not the top. They will maybe be a step below those of UCONN and Memphis, maybe Cincy( who knows with SMU), but still top four probably.

That's exactly what I would have said. Taylor is playing 37 minutes a game. Tejada is playing 20 minutes. If anything Tejada has been productive when he's actually been on the court. Regardless with no minutes it has zero context, you also need a sample size bigger than 3 or 4 games to account for the randomness of shooting streaks.
I've said many times I didn't even expected Tejada to start. We had both of our PG's from last year back. This dude is just trying to make up $hit to argue about with me the last few days.
I never made any claims other than Tejada was a good newcomer and signings and probably one of the better one on paper and he's averaging 10ppg in 20minutes per game when this guy posted this.

I'm here. What do you want? You going to tell me how that Blue chip recruit Obi Enechionyia is going to dominate or something again. 2.0ppg ,2.8rpg in 14 minutes. Awesome.

RE: Official 2014-2015 ECU Basketball Thread (Gulf Coast Showcase)
Hell Tejada's not even the best freshman on our team. We got our own BJ that's probably going to be better than many of the higher profile recruits in this conference, but I'm certainly not going to get on here an claim it though after 3 games, but he is looking good at least. He had 22 on 9 shots with 5 rebound and 3 assist today vs Fresno.
Like with much recruiting he's come out of no where which kind of speaks to a lot of it and expectations regardless like I have said before. It's basketball and one player out of no where can change teams. That's always out there and common. The bigger thing I worry about is why Lebo dumb rotations year after year and why he only played him 13 minutes yesterday when he's looked like our best player.
