We certainly weren't dominant today. A few no-calls that went in Tech's favor could've drastically changed the game. That said, good teams find ways to win ugly games. That's what today was. Glad to be on top of the West with two games left. Here's hoping USM can shock the league tonight and we can host a championship game in the beautiful piny woods of North Louisiana.

Definitely an "ugly" game for LA Tech. But despite 2 or 3 fumbles, an interception and giving up a 101-yard kick return on special teams, the Bulldogs were still leading 40-17, ON THE ROAD, in the 4th quarter. I'm not sure how you define dominant, but okay......04-cheers

RE: Wk 11; Lines in the Sand
Week 11 is now in the books, and nastybunch retains his lead at 69 correct pics, but the race for Peerless Picker picked up plenty as he holds on to a one pick lead. Its getting tougher to pick up ground the more we know about our Conference this year, but it's still possible. Followers include: Cnelson203 (68); Dawg87 (67); Stick4489 (64); CincyDave (63); and BeliefBlazer and olliebaba (60). There are a couple of additional "in the mix" guys at 57-59.

By the way, a new picker won this week's contest: dawgcrazy in his very first try, picked 6 correct winners. There were 10 pickers who picked 5, but dawgcrazy was by himself as the near-perfect picker.

Results for the week:

LaTech - 40 beat UAB -24: Balance offense overcomes turnovers to defeat Blazers in Birmingham
Rice - 17 over UTSA - 7: Owls overcome improved Roadrunner play.
Old Dominion - 38 over FIU - 35: ODU scores 10 in last two minutes to come from behind.
Western Kentucky - 35 over UTEP - 27. Comeback win by Hilltoppers.
North Texas - 31 over FAU - 10. Mean Green earns first conference win over Owls.
Marshall - 63 over Southern Miss - 17. Down 14-0 after 5:00 minutes, Herd storms 63-3 over USM in final 55:00.

I think dawgcrazy picked FIU (5-1 also)

But he picked Coastal Carolina in the Charlotte Game. 6 wins. NOt many choose to pick the Charlotte game...only 8 this week...but since I've been counting them all year, I can't stop now. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't include them.
