That's not just against Tech, and both sides are often partially correct. If a team turns it over 4 to 6+ times it usually means the defense is getting great pressure AND the offense is making stupid mistakes.

UAB has a solid rush defense. I am wary of it come saturday.

I've never held such ill will to people I've never met before, than I do with most of you right now. Stop picking FAU.

RE: Wk 11; Lines in the Sand
LaTech @ UAB - Close into the 3rd. Tech by 2-3 TDs.
UTSA @ Rice - See above, but 1-2TDs.
FIU @ Old Dominion - FIU looks to be playing well. Closer game.
UTEP @ Western Kentucky - I think the Hilltoppers bounce back and win a close one at home.
FAU @ North Texas - Honestly, I think FAU will win. But this pick is for the FAU fan above. I like Tampa and Boca and hope to be able to visit without looking over my shoulder.
Marshall @ Southern Mississippi - So far they've proven they don't slip up against teams with inferior talent. USM will be back soon, but this season I can't see them as the fly in the ointment. This one is never in doubt, and Marshall cruises to a 2-3 TD win.

Future Conference Mate
Coastal Carolina @ Charlotte - I have no idea.

RE: Wk 11; Lines in the Sand
Week 11
LaTech @ UAB - last time the bulldogs won big they squeaked by UTSA so I say another close win 38 - 31.
UTSA @ Rice - I look for Rice to coast at home 31 - 17.
FIU @ ODU - Should be a close game, ODU defense is bad but offense is solid. 35 - 27
UTEP @ WKU - Toppers offense is back on track and manages to outscore the Miners. 42 - 38
FAU @ North Texas - I want to lean towards the Owls because the Mean Green have been bad so I guess I will. 28 - 24
Marshall @ USM - The Herd continue to roll but the home team shows they are on the rebound. 45 - 31

Tech is on a roll. UAB has no answer to Diaz's D. UAB fans will say they didn't have a good day and could beat Tech.

UAB didn't have too much trouble moving the ball the last time it faced a Diaz coached defense.

Did you really just try to justify a homer's pick?

Maybe because UAB has never beaten La Tech. 0-4 if memory serves me correctly.

Just a general question for the board.

you don't understand, ask USM fans, it seems like UAB always pulls off an upset on a team that is on a roll

You are correct. But Tech fans are perfectly aware that UAB has a very good team this year.

And of course, you guys come from the far superior eastern side of CUSA. Just kidding! 04-cheers
