Where did I not give credit to your defense?...In fact if you read what I posted, I stated WKU should use La. Tech as an example of how to improve from one season to the next.....

I never said we would win Sat. either, but most reasonable WKU fans expected us to put up at least 28, I called for a 42 to 28 loss...How does this not show respect?

It seems to me know one knows how to take a win in this conference without wanting the opponent to repeat over and over again how wonderful your team is...In truth most fans are concerned or think "their team" could have played better....Just a very common trait most homer fans have, nothing new and certainly I have not read any disrespect coming from WKU fans.....Our WKU troll on here has been banned, the few WKU fans who post over here all seem reasonably level headed relatively speaking...

what you described is the nature of all mixed message boards. at least among the most juvenile and butthurt posters. 'somebody' made a statement that riles them up and the very second they get a chance to puff out their bany-rooster chest they run with it.

la tech posters are no different than middle posters or marshall posters or ecu posters. or than the troy posters were back in their day. when they lose to an fcs team they scurry like cockroaches when a light comes on.

good game......is not good enough. there are always a few sane posters. the majority ascribe to my siggy below that i stole from pounce.

if 'any' fan ever said anything then all fans are guilty. it's why i try to stay out of the game threads.

I don't think that's the case for everyone. I was here after the NSU loss. I gave them credit for capitalizing on our mistakes. We turned it over 5 times...I believe 3 in our own territory and they took advantage and beat us by a field goal. But it's not like they racked up 500 yards on us or beat us by 50 points. We beat ourselves.

sorry gregg but that's no out for you. according the smack escalation principles you're as guilty as the guy that was dogging western because some middle poster talked smack.

and i'm not saying that western fans are better. we just keep getting drilled so you haven't seen how far our former tuba players can puff out their chests.

Side note: Anyone else realize that the term "butt-hurt" has kinda fallen by the wayside this year among the CFB message boards?
