Anybody heard his new album? They played a track on Drake and Zeke this morning and I kinda dug it, did some Googleing when I got to work and it looks like he had a whos who of Memphis music for the recording sessions.

He was just before Keith Lee. He played with Hank McDowell.

Great guy. He's a recovering addict who turned to the ministry. He's an associate minister at St. John's Methodist (Peabody and Cleveland) and runs a recovery service on Friday nights.

"Standing in the Rain" is a great song.

Had him for English at Memphis State for a semester. He came in one day and said "I don't want to be here, you don't want to be here. Let's go home."

Awesome guy. Was the preacher at the local Methodist church where my Mom and Grandmother attended.

He was also the preacher at my wedding 5 years ago. Glad he is still doing well, as I haven't seen him in a couple years.
