Wake Forest, Vanderbilt

those are first year coaches at those schools....so I doubt it.

Yeah, no way WFU fires Clawson after 1 year. He's done a good job recruiting in the short time he's been there. He just has zero talent on that team right now. Grobe was an awful recruiter.

Though, now with Ward behind center, Sumlin would be coming into just the kind of situation he likes. 04-cheers

Tulsa World's Kelly Hines says Blankenship's relationship with the"higher-ups" at the university could save his job, and that he has a 50/50 chance of being retained for 2015, even with a 2-10 season. (Assuming Tulsa beats SMU.)

Any Tulsa fans on here? Thoughts?

Basically the opposite of what's been going around. I've consistently heard bill has made the "higher ups" pretty unhappy.

Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Purdue, Colorado, G Tech, & Kansas
w/ Arkansas, Indiana, N. Carolina, Univ of California, NCSt., Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Wash St., & Miami also as possibilities

Opening in these schools alone will create a domino effect where they could hire coaches & assistants from SubP5 programs thus creating more job openings/opportunities in the SMU/Tulsa range of coaching jobs.

Don’t forget there are also several sub P5 coaching jobs that might come open after this season besides SMU & Tulsa, look 4 S. Miss, Idaho, FIU, Hawaii, N. Mex St, U Conn, UTEP, & New Mexico as some schools who may very likely B filling HC positions this winter.

Sub? I've never heard that term before.

I doubt UCONN will be looking for a coach (unless I've missed something). A rebuild takes time.

Highly doubt the UNC or NC State jobs become available. Those seats are not hot. Might be a little restlessness with fans but nothing more.

The UNC job will not open up unless Fedora bails for Kansas based upon more sanctions at UNC. The NCSU job should open up, but it will not. Doeron is turrible.

No way UNC, Wake Forest, or NCSU fire their coaches. Fedouche was given a big contract and UNC doesn't really give a **** about football. Doeren has only been there two years and he has at least one more. Clawson just got there and took over a complete dumpster fire.

Probably won't happen, but Vandy is beyond bad. People want it to happen.

Really hard to rehire a back stabbing liar... I wouldn't do it.
